Here at GU we have a CRM System and a programme of work to improve how institutional contacts and events can be shared via this core system.
The system supports a range of individual and organisational contact types. This includes alumi and business contacts.
As part of our on-going drive to improve integration we have been thinking about how to better join up the data from different parts of the University. I am looking at the Research applications and awards and there is also currently a drive being led by staff in Careers, Recruitment, Corporate Communications and Museums.
What has this got to do with Research Outputs? Lots of the activities e.g. public lectures and school visits are outputs that Research Councils, the REF and others require information about.
